Fish Haven

Fish Haven - Geo Shipyard, Inc. built this Hysucat for the Mississippi department of Marine Resources to use along their coast to survey the bottom of the Mississippi Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. They chose the hydrofoil-supported catamaran design for its smooth ride and stability. They chose aluminum for its ease of maintenance. The vessel was designed by Viking Fastcraft Solutions. The Fish Haven has a very spacious cabin with a control station on the starboard side, a two-man passenger seat on the port side (both mounted on storage boxes), a settee that converts to two bunks, a large survey desk, a head, a small galley cabinet w/ sink and refrigerator, and a large Cutty forward. She is equipped with an A frame and suryey winch, Furuno and Garmin electronics.   ... More

Capt. Joey Wayne

Capt. Joey Wayne is a 40' x 12' aluminum crew/supply boat for oilfield service. The vessel is USCG certified for 12 passengers and a deck cargo of 6500 LBS. It also has a potable water tank of 700 gallons. The vessel is equipped w/ twin Yamaha 350 HP outboard motors, (1) Honda 6.5 KW generator and two roof top air conditioners.

Mr. Will

Mr. Will was built for Oilfield Marine Contractors (Abbeville, LA). This Vessel’s plaining catamaran hull was designed by Mr. Roger Fyffe with Fyffe Yachts (Houston, TX). The vessel has a USCG, COI for 20 miles near coastal, Gulf of Mexico. It is certified for 18 passengers, and a deck cargo capacity of 3000 lbs Mr. Will is equipped with twin Cummins QSC 8.3, 490 HP @ 2500 rpm diesel engines. Top speed is 28 knots with a fuel burn of 25GPH, per engine. At 2200 RPM cruise speed is 25 knots with a fuel burn of 15 GPH, per engine.   ... More

Nice Day Too

Nice Day Too was built for Mr. Tom Chen from Montauk, New York. He operated a smaller 6 pack charter boat prior to commissioning the build for this new vessel. This Vessel’s displacement catamaran hull design was acquired from Mr. Malcolm Tennant of New Zealand. The remainder of the engineering was performed by Mr. Glenn Ring with Advanced Fabrication and Mr. Roger Fyffe with Fyffe Yachts - both of Houston, TX. The vessel has a USCG, COI for 100 miles open oceans. It is certified for 49 passengers on day fishing trips and can sleeps 20 on overnight trips. Nice Day Too is equipped with twin Cummins QSL 9.0, 405 HP @ 2100 rpm diesel engines. Top speed is 24 knots with a fuel burn of 21GPH, per engine. At 1800 RPM cruise speed is 20 knots with a fuel burn of 10.5 GPH, per engine - very economical for a 62 foot aluminium catamaran.   ... More

The Fast Ferry Catalina Adventure was built by Geo Shipyard, Inc., New Iberia, LA. And designed by Viking Fast Craft Solutions, LLC., (Viking FCS) Staunton IL. for Pacific Adventure Cruises, Marina del Rey, California. This 24.6 m x 7.3 m Catamaran vessel will service passengers from Marina del Rey, California to Catalina Island. She is a US Coast Guard Sub Chapter T inspected vessel certified for 149 passengers. The seating on this vessel is abundant, in the main deck cabin aft section there are 44 comfortable reclining seats built by Arduous, Inc., Tonasket, WA. In the forward section, 53 cushioned bench type settee seats built by Sterlings Upholstery, Inc. New Iberia, LA. with tables between. There is a padded bench on the stern for 9 people. She is a 149 passenger, 19.79 m catamaran designed and built for dinner cruise service and will also be used for tours and charters in the Chesapeake Bay area. The Capt. John was designed for Williams Party Boats, Inc. (Galveston, TX) for a new high-speed catamaran party fishing boat. The profile, arrangement and hull configuration were custom-designed to suit the owner's requirements for fishing and safety.

The Hollie L crew boat was built for a variety of uses: crew, freight, diving. The inverted Vee hull has a smooth ride in adverse seas. The props are in half tunnels for shallow draft. She was to function as a ferry vessel for the Wall Street to Belford, NJ clientelle. Morrelli and Melvin Design & Engineering (Huntington Beach, CA) was chosen to aid in the design of this commercial fishing catamaran for Mr. Mike Leary (Portsmouth, NH). Commercial fishermen have been slow to adopt the catamaran hull form. The Lori - B has proven herself worthy as a practical, logical and stable work platform for fishing the notoriously rough waters of the Gulf of Maine and has found many advantages over the traditional mono-hull gillnetters in the fleet.   ... The James H. Scott is a seismographic source vessel (a "Shooting Vessel") that was designed and built for Global Geophysical, Inc. (Houston TX). She was built for shallow water exploration in the Gulf of Mexico and elsewhere around the world.

She has a catamaran design for extreme stability and sea keeping and accommodations for a crew of 6 members. She has two large high pressure air compressors and pulls four air gun strings.   ... More

The Katie Underwood is a 149 passenger aluminum catamaran ferry vessel built for the State of Georgia's Department of Natural Resources. This mono-hull vessel was designed for A and D Enterprises of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. Lanakila is a whale watch boat that is also used as a snorkel boat in the off-season.

Mobay Work Boat

This vessel was designed and built for Mobay Storage and Hub to be used to service their gas storage platform in Mobile Bay, Alabama. It carries 10 people in the comfortable air-conditioned cabin and can carry up to 10,000 lbs. of deck cargo.

Maui Explorer

The Maui Explorer was designed and built for Maui Adventure Cruises of Lahaina, Hawaii. This RIB (rigged inflatable boat) vessel can carry 44 passengers out for a day of whale watching, or take them out for a day of snorkeling over a local reef.
